Summers Hot … But Margali & Flynn is Hotter !

With a view of Huntington Bay the new owners are happy to cool off at home. They knew that had something special, and selected Margali and Flynn to create a fusion of “Contemporary” and “Beach” design styles. By engineering a steel beam structural support system, an outdated stone chimney that ran through the center of the home, basement to attic, was able to be removed.  This progressive design thinking opened up the space, and Margali and Flynn began to set sail on a design, build, and decorate voyage that rocked the boat!

With calming nautical details of blues and grays, anchored by dark oak flooring throughout, we created a feel and flow that tied every room together.  On entry, guests are welcomed with a stunning view of Huntington Bay that frames the dining and living room suite. Off to the left, the sun room calls attention, but gives way to the 1000 square foot kitchen, also with bay view, that invites you in. With two large Ceaserstone prep areas, a home office, a fireplace, flat screen with cozy seating for two, and an original design breakfast table for eight, the magic begins to happen. Add the soft oval design Mother of Pearl backsplash, Ceaserstone countertops, pendant lighting by Visual Comfort, majestic crown moldings and sun filled cottage windows, the former kitchen becomes a “Great-Room” feast !

Its hard to beat a bay-view, however the master bedroom with a master bath and walk-in closet that spans the length of the home does just that!  Ocean calm is the look and feel of the master suite – with custom Herringbone Carrara marble floor, Carrera marble shower, custom made vanities in dark grey and nautical style sconces and mirrors.  The massive custom his and her closet in light sandstone color to adds to the abundant space and beachy feel of this master suite.
