Our goal was to blend form and function, creating a modern, open-concept home that would seamlessly accommodate a growing family.
Expanding the Home: Strategic Additions and Renovations
We began by expanding the square footage, adding a stylish and functional addition over the garage. This provided space for an additional bedroom, a luxurious bathroom, and a convenient upstairs laundry room. We also gave the exterior of the home a fresh update, incorporating a copper standing seam roof and elegant chimney caps, enhancing both the aesthetic appeal and durability of the property.
A Stylish and Functional Kitchen Renovation
The heart of this home is the newly renovated kitchen, featuring sleek marble countertops, a stunning custom marble-etched backsplash, and a built-in custom banquette designed to accommodate this family of six. We also added a climate-controlled mahogany wine cellar, ideal for a family that enjoys entertaining and fine dining.
Open Concept Living: Seamless Room Transitions
Our open-concept design ensures that the rooms flow effortlessly from one to the next. The family room is the perfect place to unwind, while the home bar and pool table area provide a fun and social space for gatherings. Flat-screen TVs make it easy to watch your favorite shows or sports games while enjoying the company of family and friends.
For added flexibility, we incorporated a multi-purpose room that can be transformed into an additional dining area, a poker room, a homework space, or a quiet reading nook, depending on the family’s needs.
Maximizing Storage and Functionality
To further enhance the home’s functionality, we utilized the attic space to create a two-story closet, providing ample storage for the family. In the basement, we created an ideal space for relaxation and entertainment, complete with a home gym, a luxurious sauna, and a movie theater. The expansive basement also features a play area for the kids, complete with a mini soccer field!
