For this Manhasset homeowner we created a very unique contemporary country feel.  To accomplish this our engineers created an open space kitchen and dining area by installing a flush mounted metal load bearing beam in the ceiling.  A similar technique was used in the Master Bedroom to create a vaulted ceiling with a wood beam, country feel.  To the earth tones that the client requested, we brought in contemporary elements like a double island kitchen, subway tiles, and a master bathroom with a Herringbone floor and Carrera marble vanity.  The living room with adjacent home bar and home office celebrates stunning pendant lighting and framed flat screen for displaying and rotating art or watching your favorite TV shows.  To tie the rooms together we enhanced the open fireplace that warms and is visible from the kitchen and living room at the same time.
